I remember so well the day that I met Anita - She was busy working in her yard, trimming bushes and trees. She had not been given the message that we were stopping in to meet the parents of our son's fiancé. Yet she was so gracious and welcoming. I felt a bond and at home with Anita immediately, because she took the time to make us feel special. Through the years that David and Cindy have been married Anita and I have been able to spend some time together. Even though those times were sometimes many months apart the bond was always there. She took the time to listen and she loved us all unconditionally. She made me feel so valued as a friend. I will truly miss my friend but I know that she is with our Lord and Savior and for this I greatly rejoice. Sending my love and prayers to all the family.
